Salary: R84 096 per annum (plus benefits)
Requirements:
Grade 10 / equivalent qualification with 1-2 years relevant experience or Grade 12/ equivalent qualification plus 6-12months relevant experience.
Previous hospital laundry related experience.
Good communication and sound human relations skills, knowledge and or previous seamstress/ mending work experience will be an added advantage.
Duties:
Will be expected to work shifts and rotate to support services, sorting, sluicing, ironing, packing and mending, counting of linen.
Loading dirty linen and off-loading of clean linen onto and from trucks.
Clean keeping of laundry environment by following Standard Operating Procedure and guidelines pertaining to linen.
Ensure that laundry equipment and adequate supplies are properly maintained.
Ordering of laundry consumables guided by SCM itinerary.
Perform any other tasks as allocated by the supervisor.
