Telesure Group Services has an exciting and challenging Trainee Software Developer opportunity available in Cape Town. The Developer contributes to the organisational goals by providing user-friendly front-end and fully functional back-end applications.

Telesure was established in 1985. Over the past 28 years, the company has grown from strength to strength and has established some of the most recognisable insurance brands in South Africa. Our brands include auto & general, Dial Direct, 1st for Women, Budget Insurance, and Hippo, South Africa’s first insurance aggregator.

Duties & Responsibilities

Enhance and implement interactive applications.
Enhance and implement effective back-end applications that are not resource intensive.
Ensure effective updating of own knowledge
Contribute to optimising work practices and procedures
Effectively build and maintain relationships with peers, team colleagues and within Telesure Group

Requirements

Grade 12 with university entrance (Maths/Science/English on higher grade not negotiable)
Passionate about IT
Must have problem solving and analytical thinking ability.
Well spoken with an eagerness to learn
