Sasol - Clerk vacancy


Purpose of Job /Role Intent:

To manage the TES Secondee Contracts (previously known as Hired Labour)
To manage TES Companies interactions & relationships

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required:

Required entry Qualifications: Grade 12
Required entry Years of relevant experience: 2-5 years’ experience
Knowledge of relevant Labour Law
Computer literate: MS Word, Excel and Power point & SAP Knowledge (PS3 will be an advantage)
General administration experience
Sasol payment & procurement processes

Core Elements of Job:

PS3 Training for OME’s & Shutdowns
Provide training to OME’s and shutdowns
Train extra TES resources on SAP for Shutdowns

Manage TES Sourcing

Check Notifications on PS1
Request Quotations from the TES Companies
Scope clarification of TES resource needs
Loading of PR’S
Liaise with OME’s in terms of Notifications
Administer action against notification (Engagement, terminations etc.)
Send out relevant reports with regards to TES Secondees

Manage TES on-boarding

Load TES onto PS3 when hired by OME’s
Liaise with Permit Office, Medical & training centres
Verify that TES resources have gone through medicals, induction & training
Movement of TES to different User Names for time administration

TES Compliance Management

Spot Checks-verification of Compliance (vendors): Check for PPE Invoices (Personal Protective Equipment) during Shutdowns, competency verification, employment contract exists (Between TES Secondee & TES Company), verification of payments from TES Company to TES Secondee, Duration of contract.
Check the number of Notifications against the number of active TES Secondees
Check that ample notice is given to the TES Secondee based on the duration of the contract

Manage Shutdown Recruitment Process

Identify areas to visit in terms of TES Secondee sourcing
Notify TES Companies & OU’s as to the time & place of the recruitment drive
Arrange testing facilities & equipment for specific skilled TES Secondees
Attend interviews for TES Secondees

Manage TES Shutdown Resources

Compile & complete shutdown List
Co-ordinate & expedite all TES Secondees during the Shutdown
Liaise with permit office, medical & training centres

Reporting

Assist with reports as requested
General administrative duties
