DisChem - Authorisation Clerk vacancy


Introduction...

Authorisation Clerk required for Oncology Pharmacy based in Port Elizabeth (Not at Bay West Dis-Chem but at an associated practice in Newton Park area). Previous experience with medical scheme authorisation procedures and/or oncology would be beneficial.

Minimum Requirements...

2 years' experience in Medical Reception
Knowledge of ICD 10 coding
Previous experience with medical scheme authorisation procedures and/or oncology would be beneficial
Matric
Job Specification...

This role is responsible for

Coordinating and facilitating authorisation for treatment
Re-authorisation or adjustments
Updating statistics and recorded data
Maintain an updated database of medical aid contact information
Provide feedback regarding authorisation
Assist with telephonic queries
