Afoodable is looking to recruit a Issuing Clerk: Packaging Materials to work in Cape Town.The company Afoodable, which falls under Lake Foods, produces quality liquid marinades and sauces for the local and export markets. The company produces an extensive range of its own branded products for the catering and butchery markets as well as acting as a manufacturer and co-packer for larger local companies, including some retail outlets.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Responsible for issuing packaging materials to production as per works orders.
• Monitor stock levels of “everyday” packaging materials and inform Purchasing clerk of any issues.
• Assisting Receiving Clerk when needed.
• Counting of packaging materials at stock take.
• Assist Receiving clerk and Purchasing clerk with investigating stock variance at stock take.
• Assisting Issuing Clerk – Packaging when needed.
• Responsible for the hygiene and cleanliness of working area.
• Adhere to all health & safety requirements.
• Must be prepared to work overtime when necessary.

Qualifications & Experience
• Matric / Grade 12.
• Experience in a similar role in a food production environment would be advantageous.
