Process System Operator vacancy - Parmalat

Job Description 

Join Parmalat at our Bonnievale Plant as a Process System Operator in the Spreads department. The main responsibilities for operating various Machines on Spreads Line. In addition to this the successful candidate will also be responsible to ensure that machines are operating according to standard in an attempt to prevent wastage of materials. Required Skills 

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• 2-3 years’ experience in food related manufacturing environment
• Computer literate
• Relevant experience on similar filling and packing equipment
• Cooking Experience
• Proven Ability to do Inline adjustments to recipes
• Attention to detail
• Willing to learn
• Willing to work shifts, long hours, weekends, public holidays and overtime
• Exposure to HACCP advantageous

Duties & Responsibilities 

• Responsible for operating various Machines on Spreads Line.
• Ability to monitor and do in-line quality checks and adjustments
• Responsible for Testing of Cheese – Laboratory and Quality Testing
• Products is produced according to the set Quality parameters
• Support in all production related tasks.
• Stock counts
• Processing Operations (including, CIP, COP, Cooking, UHT, Filling).
• A High standard of housekeeping is upheld.
• Waste control: Monitor and record waste of packaging and ingredients.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Adhere to Health and Safety Regulations.
• Participate in company driven programs, i.e. ISO22000 / NOSA / 20 Keys
