ADMIN CLERK vacancies - Distell


Key Performance Areas include, but are not limited to:

Accurate budget and financial control which include:
Assisting the regional management accounting team with co-ordinating the Capex and Opex budget and forecast process within Sales
Assisting Head Office and the Sales team in managing Sales DVC scenario planning and execution
Capturing of budgets on SAP and assisting with monthly reporting on SAP
Pro-active variance reporting
FML vehicle control and monitoring, which includes fuel and kilometre monitoring
Monitoring and managing sales company assets
Promo liquor control
Conduct on-going analysis and reviews, feasibility studies and proposals for improvement
Compile reports on QlikView, BW and daily sales reporting, as well as monitoring of Namibia’s National cycle grid
Effective handling of all Sales administration as well as processing of orders/requisitions on SAP
Handling of confidential matters, effectively communicating and following up on urgent matters
Plan and execute all Company events and drive marketing plans within Distell Namibia
Attendance of Distell and Sales functions
Analytical reviews of Sales Consultants, co-ordinating reps reports within the prescribed deadlines
Analytical reviews of Customer Master Data (CMD) integrity and completeness
Ensure alignment of Redistributor data to Distell’s IT system
Acting as “gatekeeper” when scheduling/diarising meetings, appointments and key events
Effective liaison and communication with Regional Sales Manager, Team Leaders as well as internal and external stakeholders
Good office administration with include general secretarial duties, task prioritization, filing, diary management, monthly meeting minutes and travel bookings
Tend to reasonable ad-hoc requests from the Regional Sales Manager and Sales Teams

Preferable qualifications / experience/ skills:



Minimum qualification of Grade 12
A secretarial diploma would be a definite advantage
2 - 3 years experience in a similar environment with proven admin experience
Excellent computer literacy (MS Office, especially Excel, and SAP knowledge)
A valid driver’s license
Fluent in Afrikaans and English (written and verbal); another local language would be an added advantage
Sound understanding of basic financial concepts, with good business skills and financial judgement
Excellent data analytical abilities to interpret and present statistical data
Energetic and professional individual
Excellent time management skills and a sense of urgency
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Good decision-making and problem solving abilities
Entrepreneurial personality with a creative flair
Ability to work accurately under pressure
Result-driven self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as in a team
