Operator Sampler Helper - South 32

POSITION:

The purpose of this role is to gather information throughout the sampling process, in a safe and sustainable manner, to assist the production team with grade control information

REQUIREMENTS:

Serious contenders will have a Grade 12 with Mathematics;
Valid Driver’s license is essential.
Underground experience is advantageous.
Computer literate in MS Office Suite is essential.

DUTIES

Be part of the underground/surface sampling teams;
Assist with all Sampling activities e.g. face, plants or silos, Road truck samples, stockpiles and WC windrows etc;
Marking of the faces after the blast;
Monitoring of loading processes;
Operating of underground LDV and Manitou;
Transporting of people and samples underground and submission of samples for laboratory analysis;
Reporting of incidents and break downs.
