Cellar Assistant vacancies - Distell


Intro...

Applications are invited for the above-mentioned positions to be based in the Cellar, at Durbanville Hills Winery. The successful candidate will report to the Supervisor.

Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to the following:

Receiving and despatching of product
Drawing of samples
Wine adjustments
Blending activities
Stocktaking
General housekeeping
Other ad-hoc duties

The successful candidate must have the following qualification, skills and experience:

Minimum Grade 12
Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a cellar environment will be an advantage
Be able to work on heights and confined spaces
Be able to work under pressure
Be able to work shifts
Must have reliable transport to and from work
Be prepared to work overtime and weekends if required
A forklift licence will be an advantage
