General Worker Wanted at TSiBA

Our client a well-established NPO with a national footprint is seeking to employ a General Worker at their Johannesburg Branch

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To extract goods of a specific quantity from the warehousing system, and deliver them to the delivery platform in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, and productivity and to perform general duties related to the receiving, storage, picking, packing, and distribution of goods and materials, and general cleaning and warehouse duties.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Receiving, storage and dispatching
Sort goods by supplier and type.
Separate waste to designated area.
Prepare stock for dispatch including sorting, weighing, labelling and wrapping.
Assist drivers and supervisors in the loading and off-loading of vehicles and complete paperwork, where necessary
Efficiently pick orders for delivery
Move orders to delivery locations or delivery platforms
Ensure that inbound and outbound deliveries are accurate and free of damage
Conduct physical stock counts as required

Health and safety
Clean warehouse floor and equipment according to cleaning schedule

Security
Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse

Standards / Compliance
Maintain warehouse procedures and protocols, and quality control norms and standards

Candidate Requirements
1-3 years warehouse experience
Good customer service Skills
