Sasol Synfuels Operations is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join Secunda Refining Mechanical West Department. Maintenance assistants are critical to ensure that essential maintenance activities are executed timeously to support plant operations. The purpose of job is the maintenance of mechanical equipment.Responsibilities
Prepare equipment for inspection
Report deviations and defects to Foreman.
Assist Artisans in daily activities.
Good Housekeeping and high Safety standards
Requirements
Grade 12 with Maths & Science & English (Must)
NQF2 Mechanical occupational qualification (preferred)
Valid driver’s licence C1 (must)
Technical skills Interpersonal skills

Communication skills
Team player
Self-driven
Work under pressure with minimal supervision
