General Worker wanted at Ekurhuleni municipality

Requirements:

Grade 10
Ability to read and write

Responsibilities:

Comply with Occupational health and safety regulations
Physically cleaning litter on side- walks, streets, public spaces and emptying street litter bins
Loading of street litter bags for safe disposal
Collecting and removal of refuse from residential, business and industrial premises
Delivering different types of bins to service point to ensure easy refuse removal
Ensure safekeeping of tools and report damages to the team leader
Cleaning offices and maintaining
Depot grounds and gardens
Build and maintain excellent customer relations
Washing and greasing of refuse collection and other council vehicles to ensure that vehicles are clean and in good working order
Physical cleaning and removal of animal carcases
Handle safekeeping of tools and report damages
Clean mini disposal sites and maintain
Depot grounds
