Job Description:
The successful incumbent will be responsible for the application of the full training cycle in the Mining Discipline.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Train and assess Learners according to the legal requirements and satisfaction of the NQF & MQA directives
Do needs analysis, conduct training interventions and evaluate learners performance
Produce and maintain effective training results
Implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001: 2008
Coordinate and control all aspects of training courses
Develop and present mining training courses
Maintain safety standards with compliance to the Company safety programme
Minimum Required Qualifications and Experience:
Grade 12 or NQF level 3 equivalent qualification
Blasting Certificate for Scheduled Mines
Registered Assessor or studying towards becoming an Assessor
3 years’ experience as Miner or Shift Boss
2 years’ experience in a Training Discipline
Proficient in MS Office
Valid Driver’s license
Other Required Skills and Competencies:
Good verbal and written communication in English
Knowledge of relevant legislation
Coaching and mentoring skills
Assessment and moderation skills
Facilitation skills
