The Engineering Assistant provides a pool of support of basic engineering, technical skills and is required to support all the artisans to whom the individual is allocated to perform low complexity high volume work.

Grade 12 (with Maths and Science for external candidates)
Internal candidates must have IDC in place to develop individual through ABET, NCOR, NTC1.
Semi-skilled with various certificate skills in Engineering will be advantageous
Must be able to do standby and work overtime
Communication in English
Physical Requirements
Medically fit
Not colour blind
