St Teresa’s is looking for an experienced Laboratory Assistant to assist the High School Physical Sciences, Life Sciences and Art Departments.
The Laboratory Assistant will assist with the following:
Preparing for Lab Sessions before lessons begin
Settling up of any laboratory equipment needed for experiments
Securing the laboratory by ensuring the lab is cleaned up after all experiments
Promoting safety within the laboratories by practicing safe behaviours and demonstrating these safe practices to learners
Assisting in Experiments to guide learners through experiments
Assisting with Art Exhibitions
Keeping stock of Art supplies
Work collaboratively with academic staff
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
At least 2 years’ experience in a suitable environment
Matric certificate
Police clearance certificate
Willingness to work around the school as needed
Be organised, enthusiastic and suited to teaching in a girls’ Catholic school with the ability to identify and contribute to the values and ethos of the school.
