Key responsibilities:
Administrative duties, including typing of correspondence filing and upkeep of communications file; receiving/sending of faxes and emails; sorting and distribution of internal mail; updating of inventory list of resources; stationery requirements
Handling a busy switchboard
Taking messages and dealing with general queries from parents, students, general public and staff
Handling of email and face-to-face enquiries
Welcoming of a diversity of visitors
Handling the signing in and out of students
Assist with administration and set-up relating to functions
First Aid Representative for Junior Prep and be able to attend to children in the sickroom
Assist with collating money and reply slips for school events and photographs
Available to assist with adhoc requests which impact on the effective functioning of the school
Overseeing the general operational maintenance with the Junior Prep

Experience in reception, switchboard, organising functions and awareness of operational maintenance preferably within a school environment
Good administrative skills with the ability to prioritise, multi-task and work under pressure
Computer literacy with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (pencil box knowledge would be an distinct advantage)
Must be a team player with strong communication and inter-personal skills, and be customer service orientated
Proof of sexual offender’s clearance certificate. Any staff member working within a school is required to have a sexual offender’s clearance certificate
A willingness to work within the values, Christian ethos and mission of the College as well as participation in the broader life of the school
