Capitec - Call centre Agent


Purpose of the Role 

To efficiently and effectively assess, administer and handle all retrenchment and death insurance claims.
To administer and handle all deceased estate matters / queries to ensure efficient processing and the transfer of funds to executors.
To administer and handle all Administration and Ad-hoc portfolios matters / queries to ensure efficient processing and optimal recoveries by external service providers

Qualifications 

• National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or National Certificate (Vocational)

Experience 

• Legal collections and/or administration and/or insurance in the banking and / or retail environment
• Legal collections processes
• Administering and handling all retrenchment and death insurance claims.
• Administration

• Knowledge of legal collections and/or administration and/or insurance in the banking and / or retail environment
• Knowledge of basic business and legal terminology (contracts, obligations)
• Knowledge of the legal collections processes and principles would be preferred
• Communication skills (verbal & written)
• Numerical skills
• Computer literate (Intermediate MS Office)
• Accuracy (attention to detail)
• Administrative skills
• Client service orientation
• Interpersonal skills

• Problem solving skills
• Attention to detail (accuracy)
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work in an open plan environment
• Willing and able to work extra hours, outside normal business hours as and when required.
