PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Co-ordinating employee benefit related administration and processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Administration of bursary scheme and educational assistance
COIDA administration and co-ordinate IOD claims via COID Support
Co-ordinate retirement fund related administration and communication
Administer the long service awards
Initiate the implementation of medical scheme changes on payroll
Distribute member communication and administering of medical aid for pensioners
Assist with Ad hoc administration tasks and projects
Act as a back-up for Fund Coordinator and Benefits and Remuneration Practitioner
JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS

JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12
Minimum 3 years benefits administration experience
Payroll knowledge would be advantageous
Good interpersonal skills required with an appropriate degree of assertiveness
Computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel
Competencies required: Good Communication, Problem Solving, Detail Orientation, Building and Maintaining Relationships, Accuracy, and Planning, Organising and Control
