DAYSHIFT ASSISTANT - Senmin

Job Description 

Senmin is looking to recruit a Dayshift Assistant to work in Sasolburg.
Senmin supplies a range of chemicals used in the beneficiation of minerals. Most of its products are utilised in the froth flotation and tailings treatment segments of the mining industry in South Africa, Southern Africa and further afield. In addition, Senmin provides customers with value-adding expertise in the handling and dosage of its products.

Duties & Responsibilities 

• Assist Vendor manager with their day to day duties including but not limited to:
o Inventory management.
o Daily reporting of reagent performance to client.
o Daily/Weekly/Monthly report of reagent performance to local management.
o Managing employees in the absence of a Vendor Manager.
• Also, assist reagent operators with their day to day duties including but not limited to:
o Quality control.
o Flowarte measurements.
o Safety inspections.
o Stock taking.
o Capturing of data.
o Spot checks.
o Housekeeping.

Qualifications & Experience 

• Grade 12 with Maths and Science or completed NQF4 Chemical Operations.
• A diploma/degree in Metallurgy/Chem Eng would be an advantage.
• Computer literate.
• Must be willing to relocate as required by the company.
• Driving Forklift
• Shift work.
• Medically fit.
