An opportunity has arisen for a high calibre Tyre Attendant Tyre attendant to handle all maintenance and tyre knowledge for heavy duty vehicles and controls the tyre bay stock. Please refer to the minimum requirements, duties and responsibilities below for further information.
Minimum Requirements
• Matric
• 4 – 5 years’ experience in a related field
• Maintenance and tyre knowledge for heavy duty vehicles
• Transport operations knowledge
• Computer literate
• Valid Code 08 drivers license
• Reliable
• Trustworthy
• Good communication skills
• Must have own transport to and from work

Duties & Responsibilities
• Controls the tyre bay stock.
• Monitors tyre wear on prime movers and trailers for all contracts.
• Changes and rotates tyres when required to do so.
• Conducts tyre surveys in line with policy.
• Keeps tyre records up to date.
• Ensures that all documentation, defect slips, tyre change slips and invoices are processed and authorised daily.
• Ensures that all tyre changes are approved by line management
• Monitors tyre wear on prime movers and trailers for all contracts.
