Aveng Grinaker-LTA invites applications for an 12 Learnership opportunities in East Rand Boksbug, Gauteng. Learners will be trained t become Junior Administrators, Junior Foremen and Junior Health And Safety Officers.
The incumbent will be granted an opportunity to attend a Learnership programme for a duration of twelve (12) months. The Learnership Programme is specifically targeted at historically disadvantaged & disabled persons and it encompasses structured theoretical training combined with practical / workplace experience. Learners will be equipped to work in the construction industry and attain a broad understanding and knowledge of supervisory skills with a major responsibility for workers, materials and plant on a particular contract or section of the project. They will also be able to deal with health and safety issues on Building sites. Upon successful completion of the Learnership programme, learners will acquire a National Certificate in Supervision of Construction Processes.
Aveng Grinaker-LTA is a multi-disciplinary construction group, anchored in South Africa and focused on selected infrastructure, energy and mining opportunities in Africa.

- Taking responsibility for personal performance in accordance with the training programme
- Ensuring productivity and displaying a “can do” attitude; ensuring organisational success
- Adhering to relevant Building regulations
- Identifying own development needs
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) Certificate with English and Pure Mathematics / Maths literacy
- Candidates must be between the ages of 20 and 30
- Be from a historical disadvantage group
- Genuine interest in Construction building activities
