Rand Water - Artisan Aide(Mechanical) vacancies

Reporting to the Assistant Mechanical Foreman, the successful candidate will assist the Artisan in welding, repairing and installing various types of machinery in the Mechanical workshop.

PRIMARY DUTIES

· Assist Artisan in welding of various types of machines.
· Assist Artisan in repairing and assembling various types of machines.
· Assist artisan in carrying tools from workshop using a trolley to the area of work.
· Cleaning of parts and stripped equipment according to Rand Water standards.
· General house cleaning duties including workshop machinery and equipment.


JOB REQUIREMENTS

· NQF level 1 or Grade 9 or equivalent
· 1 year experience in mechanical environment.
· Safety Training
