To assist and support members of the HR Team with the management of the files and important documents that are maintained by the organization. This job will also provide specific support to the HR Team to make records of the files and assisting the team in locating the files.
1. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
• Add new material to file records, and create new records as necessary.
• Answer questions about records and files.
• Find and retrieve information from files in response to requests from authorized users.
• Modify and improve filing systems, or implement new filing systems.
• Place materials into storage receptacles, such as file cabinets, boxes, bins, or drawers, according to classification and identification information.
• Scan or read incoming materials in order to determine how and where they should be classified or filed.
• Sort or classify information according to guidelines such as content, purpose, user criteria, or chronological, alphabetical, or numerical order.
• Track materials removed from files in order to ensure that borrowed files are returned.
• Gather materials to be filed from departments and employees.
• Maintain an arranged file room
• Sort material in accordance with filing system used
• Remove and trash out-of-date materials

• 2 Years' experience as a filing clerk in an organization with more than 500 employees
