The Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) Research Methodology and Data Centre (RMDC) seeks to appoint 19 Data Capturers in Gauteng for a one month assignment on the The South African Social Attitude Study (SASAS)
The Data Capturers will report to the Manager FDC.
Key responsibilities:
• Provide fast, consistent and accurate inputting and processing of data from survey field questionnaires into provided software
• Ability to multitask, jungle tasks and to priorities work
• Keen awareness of deadline and proactive approach
• Typing speed of 50-60 words a minute

Requirements:
• Matric is a must
• 3-5 years Data Capturing experience
• Excellent command of the English language
• Computing skills
• Fast, accurate, consistent data entry via keyboard and mouse
• Typing speed of 50-60 words a minute
• Ability to multitask, jungle tasks and to priorities work
• Keen awareness of deadline and proactive approach
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Service orientated
• Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility
• Good interpersonal skills
• Initiative, organizational skills, well presented, confident, honest and a quick thinker
• Clerical experience will be an advantage
