Job Description
AEL is looking to recruit a Warehouse Controller: Spare Parts to work in Modderfontein.
To control the supply of engineering spare parts by timely calling-off from approved suppliers whilst managing working capital to acceptable levels and business risk of non-availability, and through the effective utilisation of subordinates, ensure their timely receipt, storage and delivery to the Engineering, manufacturing or front end units.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Storekeeping for engineering spare parts.
• Warehouse stores orderly housekeeping standards.
• Conduct regular spare parts cycle counts.
• Pick engineering spare parts against pick list relating to customer orders (local and international).
• Call off engineering spare parts from FMS or contracted service providers.
• Ensure SAP spare part inventory data reconciles with the physical spares on a daily basis.
• Update the inventory management systems and proactively escalate system update issues.
• Compile supplier quality performance.
• Comply with Safety, Health and Environment standards.
• Support continual business improvement and change management.
• Comply with governance and established policies, systems, procedures and practices.

Qualifications & Experience
• Matric.
• At least 1-2 years’ experience in storekeeping and material handling knowledge gained either by studies or by experience in a stores environment.
• Be able to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to carry out mathematical calculations.
• Code 10 Drivers Licence and will be an added advantage.
• Working Knowledge of SAPR3 will be an added advantage.
