NECSA - Learner Radiation Protection Officer Vacancies X6


Job Profile:

The main purpose of the job is to:

· Assist with compliance to regulatory, statutory and license requirements; and
· Assist and comply with radiological protection and safety documents (procedures and plans) for activities and work.

Key Performance Areas


Executing of:

· Performing Radiation Protection duties under direct supervision;
· Keep complete and accurate record of monitoring data collected and report timeously to the Radio Protection Officer (RPO);
· Assist and take initiative to promote safety culture in the facility; and
· Keep up to date with the field of expertise through self-study, attendance of colloquia, courses and training sessions.

Job Requirements:

Professional/technical skills.
Computer literacy.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Must be able to perform routine tasks under direct supervision.

Qualifications and Experience:

· Radiation Protection Officer level 2-Training.
· Applied SHE principles.
· Generic Radiation Protection experience
