Liberty life - Value Agent vacancy

Job Purpose: 

To calculate policy values for the following reasons: to provide various types of information to clients (values, policy structure, etc.) and also provide servicing areas with accurate values needed for disbursements, claims and servicing requests. This includes providing accurate policy data (for data integrity purposes).

Key Responsibilities 

Technical accountabilities
Calculate and explain values independently to clients
To complete end – to – end processes independently and take ownership of processes
To answer any values’ query received from internal and external customers with minimal assistance
Respond to complex client queries independently
Ensure data integrity and recommend any system changes where relevant
Client engagement and explanation on products and portfolio (complex)
Problem resolution within agreed time frame.
Ensure that error cause removal is established to prevent further queries of the same nature reoccurring.
Client focus must be maintained without compromising the business in any way within level of authority and expertise.
Courteous and professional manner to be maintained when dealing with clients.
Ensure that complete and accurate information given.
Ensure that feedback is to be given until query is resolved.
Monitor trends and provide feedback to relevant parties.
Provide subject matter expertise according to customer requirements and level of expertise.
Ensure all values are calculated according to Actuarial Principles and standards.
Ensure complete and accurate information is made available to customers at all times irrespective of source of entry.
Ensure all information is obtained and investigated, where necessary before actioning request.
Ensure integrity of data

Qualifications 

Matric (non – negotiable) with Maths (HG) and English
Post matric qualification in finance/ mathematics related (Advantageous)

Experience 

3- 5 years’ general insurance in servicing environment
