Remuneration R 152 862 per annum (Salary level 5)
The Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport is seeking the services of a qualified person to deliver an effective and efficient financial service to the Department and maintain a healthy accounting practice. This position is stationed in Cape Town.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification) with Accounting and/or Mathematics as a passed subject
Recommendation
A Finance related qualification.
Key Performance
Areas Responsible for compilation of sundry payments; Responsible for the reconciliation of corporate accounts; Processing of payments and journals on BAS and LOGIS; Perform compliance checks on payments; Control and safekeeping of financial records; Clearing suspense accounts.
Competencies
Proven computer literacy; Good numerical skills; Communication (written and verbal) skills in at least two of the official languages of the Western Cape; Ability to function independently and as part of a team; Ability to function under pressure; good planning and organising skills.
