Commission Clerk - Alexander Forbes


Introduction...

Alexander Forbes Financial Services is looking for a Commission Clerk in their retail division.

Minimum Requirements...

Minimum matric / equavalent with Maths

Required Experience:

At least 1-3 years working experience in an accounting environment
Previous experience as an income controller would be advantageous

Job Specification...

1.Income Control
• Receipt of commissions and fees on a daily basis to the Interface Commission System
• Ensuring that we receive commission statements from product suppliers timeously for capture into the month
• Clearing the unmatched reports

2. Reconciliations
• Utilizing reports generated from the Interface Commission System to balance against the bank

3. Reports
• Monitors
• Production Reports

4. Filing
• Commission statements
• Journals
• Fee Invoice Requests

Technical

• Intermediate MS Word skills
• Excellent oral & written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to anticipate and manage change
• Innovative thinking and delivery
• Comprehensive Excel Skills
