The Clicks Group Ltd is excited to offer a National Certificate in Bookkeeping (NQF Level 3) to learners who are committed, passionate and dedicated to creating a career within the group.
Purpose and Objectives
This Cape Town-based learnership is a work based learning programme that leads to a National Certificate in Bookkeeping which is an NQF level 3 qualification. The programme assists learners to prepare for the workplace and promotes access to increased employment opportunities within the Clicks Group. The programme shall be presented for a period of 18 months and pays between R3500 and R4000 depending on the applicants experience and qualification.
The incumbent will be responsible for
Conducting themselves as employees of Clicks Group according to Company values
Attending classroom activities and practical on the job training as well as carrying out functions in line with the Learnership
Acquiring knowledge of company products, policies and procedures in order to be successful at on the job training activities
Compiling a Portfolio of Evidence for submission to SETA
Completing logbooks for work-based learning
Achieving the required level in formative and summative assessments
Demonstrating commitment to the learning and working environment
Demonstrating skills in using the company’s systems
Showing understanding of the operational processes
Carry out day to day tasks given in appointed role as an addendum to the learnership
Applicant should meet these requirements

Completed Grade 12 with Accounting as a subject (essential)
Completed qualification in HR, IT or Finance (desirable)
English
Mathematics
Unemployed and can commit 18 months to the programme
South African citizens between the ages of 18 and 35 years
Based in Cape Town
Have an interest in numbers and accounting principles
